Aside from making sure that the team are doing fantastic on their own fields and maintaining external relations and communications, I also manage the books of the company. Accounting and bookkeeping has been my expertise as it is one of the most important aspects in running a business. Attention to detail and organization of workflow - the two main things I am completely proud of to offer the team.
Working with Phil Labor literally feels like working with your closest friends or even your family. Management is very considerate and understanding. The whole team are cheerful and amazing colleagues! I feel so lucky.

According to Katharine Briggs & Isabel Briggs Myers, I'm an INFJ. It's the rarest of the 16 personality types. Which made me think that I'm quite rare... and special.
When I was young, I thought when it rains, it rains all over the world. Later I found out that the rain just covers a certain area and I'm just a miniscule bio-organism in a vast, endless universe. The first time I was conscious, I thought I'm on a virtual simulation of some sort, and everything I see are just figments of my imagination. Years passed, I found out that it's called Solipsism, and I'm not really alone, as there are other humans that are aware of their existence as well.
I have this strange attachment to pets, that I don't ever want to have one again. When my dog "TJ" died after I pampered it for 10 years, there's this unbreakable bond that Science can't explain.
I have a knack for concealing messages and later on deciphering them, which I later found out that it's called Steganography. Wrangling code is my pastime. Now I get paid to have fun.
Aside from doing unfashionable and socially inept or boringly studious stuff, I eat, play Pokemon Go, and watch Netflix.
I am an Accountant for Phil Labor with seven (7) years of experience in the field. I had different exposures to numerous types of industries and practices of accounting procedures which greatly contributed to the skills that I have accumulated and utilized over the years. I've been with Phil Labor for over a year with the responsibility performing general bookkeeping and in charge of formulating various financial and system reports for management.
What I love about accounting is the critical thinking and logic behind it. Based on my years of experience, I had proven that your experience is not the same when you're involved in this field since you're exposed to different processes for each industries that you work for and encounter different transactions on a daily basis as well which makes it more challenging. For this reason, I enjoyed it and stayed passionate about it, more than enough to keep myself inspired to continue learning and being adventurous to experience other fields that I'm not much exposed to. Knowledge and experience are things that you can always develop constantly and being with Phil Labor helped me a lot to improve professionally & personally.
I believe as well that life is also like a principle in Accounting wherein everything must be balanced. I always ensure to properly give time between work and my personal life to keep myself mentally healthy for both. Aside from spending time on my career as an Accountant, I find joy as well in watching series and playing video games in my spare time, which helps me relieve all my stress and keeps my mind alert and focused.
Siim has been involved with IT & Manufacturing logistics sector from early 2000’s and CRM systems automation from 2018.
From an early age my passion has lied around computers and technology. Starting out with simple things like getting Sony Walkman Cassette player for Christmas, my parents knew that it would probably take me a day or two until I pulled it to bits because of my curiosity to see what was inside the player and how the components worked. (I managed to always put everything back together as well without any screws left over.)
Getting my first computer in the beginning of 2000’s was a real game changer, I knew that this piece of technology was going to be a part of my everyday life right from the beginning.
Growing up in Estonia we were blessed with super fast internet as well which opened a whole new world of information for me.
“Always deliver more than expected” , “Never give up” are his two most important rules to live by.
I work as a Digital Marketing Assistant. My work at Phil Labor consists of social media marketing and management, graphic design, video editing, and content writing.
Growing up, I was already inclined in the creative field— may it be in writing or design. At 9, I started writing personal blogs. In high school, I dabbled in designing and video editing. In college, I took up AB Communication where I was able to explore the field even more. I'd like to think I am one of the lucky ones because I didn't have to give up my creative side. Now, I even get to do it every day.
As much as possible, I don’t confine myself. I try to immerse myself in different hobbies outside of work. I am passionate in film. I like to expand my perspective through reading. And recently, I found out I enjoy watching F1.
Apart from all things mentioned above, I also like spending quality time with my family and friends over good food or on road trips. (With proper social distancing protocols, of course. 😁) Most importantly, I enjoy being the Person-Who-Feeds-Me-All-The-Time-That's-Why-I-Love-Her to my pug Rocky.
Growing up in a developing country is my drive to plunge and discover the mesmerizing world of Digital Marketing. My childhood is a memoir of overcoming challenges on daily basis. I learned that life is about dreams to chase. My family’s socio-economic situation taught me the value of labor. Oh don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed my childhood days. Certainly! Given a chance to choose a life filed in folders, I will still pick mine. I grew up in the countryside embraced by nature’s magnificent bounty.
A working student, I managed to earn a degree in BA Language and Literature from the university through scholarship. After years of failures and triumphs-side to side-, I graduated and landed a job as a Project Officer for an NGO. From there, my saga in fulfilling career advancement started.
After years in the academe as an educator and researcher, I found myself longing for something that we’ll make me feel that I am bound for greatness. I knocked, and then the door opened. Hired as a Content Writer year 2016, I began dealing with international clients. A UK based company believed that my interest in gardening and everything related to the idea of outdoor living, could make me write about anything; from garden pests to beating winter blues. I know pests, all sorts, but winter?! Seriously, it took me a day to finish an article about winter blues. My very first “bloody hell” feedback from the bosses.
Experience taught me that putting thoughts into words is not the hard part. Anyone skilled to write can do that with ease. The make or break point in content writing is putting relevance on an article. People will read it. It can save life or the other way around. However, the real beauty of my new profession came to life when I am introduce to SEO. This is when things got more exciting. Meeting these expats from Oz honed me into a reliable Filipino talent that Australian companies would always prefer to have. Signing contract with PhilLabor is making me a new member of this growing family; my Filipino definition of what family is.
I was an HR Assistant in my previous company before I began working for Phil Labor. Now I am glad to be part of the team!
I'm passionate when it comes to working. I'm detail-oriented, dedicated, providing high-quality administrative and clerical assistance to my client, and love to learn about new things.
Being with Phil Labor helps you grow a lot in every aspect. They always share their experiences, thoughts, and learnings with the team. That is what I like about Phil Labor!
When I'm not working, you can find me cooking, watching documentaries, love to watch movies, and I'm a curious person, always looking for new adventures. Also, I like spending quality time, especially with my family.
At my previous company which is my first job actually, I was a content editor and social media specialist. The things I learned there matched-up with my current job here in Phil Labor. Being a General Virtual Assistant for about 5 years now made me more productive and passionate in doing all sorts of tasks. I welcome new learnings and discoveries as I have a very curious mind.
Being a part of the Phil Labor team feels like working with a family. You gain friends/acquaintances whom you can share thoughts and stories with. Team huddles are surely fun!
On my free time, I watch Korean dramas and American shows. I can say I’m more of a series junkie than a movie buff. I love spending time at home with my family rather than going out as I’m somewhat of an introvert with a bit of being an extrovert sometimes. Fun fact about me: I have a shelf full of Korean Pop albums and merchandise. I feel happy whenever I see my collection and seeing them organized gives me peace. Lastly, my guilty pleasure is taking photos of food. You can call me Sabbie the Foodie. Who doesn’t love sumptuous food right? 😉
I am a Xero Certified accounting major with three year-experience in Accounting. Currently working as a Bookkeeper and Executive Assistant for an Australian company, and previously worked as a Junior Accountant in one of the biggest retail companies in the Philippines.
With over three years of experience in the Accounting industry and closely working with top management, I have acquired essential skill sets that helped me improve as a bookkeeper/accountant. Some of these are the reconciliation of accounts, financial accounting and reporting, and preparation of financial statements. I can also prepare internal management reports based on my clients' needs, such as monthly inventory reports, sales trends, variance analyses, cash flow movements reports, and gross profit analyses.
Learning new things could be endless when working around business people. Dealing with numbers is just one thing. On the side of that, my marketing skills were enhanced by making social media ads and promotional campaigns for my client's businesses. The most interesting part of what I do is even how far my tasks are from my primary duties; I always find a way to connect them back to the business's financial and accounting side, making my clients love my work even more.
I surprise many people after working hours as they see a different side of me. Not everyone wants to be a person who is keen to details, critical thinker, problem-solver, and a wizard of excel 24/7. Outside of work, I am just another girl who struggles with which colour of purse to pick to match my shoes. A 20-something who knows how to enjoy life with the simplest things. I can be a home-buddy with a book on my lap or a film on the screen on a rainy day and still be an adventurous traveller when the sun is brightly shining. Either way, I enjoy doing all of it as I celebrate every season of life. Like how the saying goes, the sun always shines after the rain.
I’ve been in sales for over 20 years and working with Erika and Angie on another venture in the automotive trade for about 7 years. Best 7 years of my career. I’m so happy to have joined the Phil Labor team.
I LOVE the team I work with. I love the integrity of PhilLabor, the ongoing training, the calibre of services and the support everyone is given.
I love the work I do too. Helping people succeed and making a real difference to their lives is important to me.
My life is all about my people; my family and friends, my gorgeous new grandchild and my 2 fur babies Abby and Shiloh (my 2 rescue German Sheppard/ x Samoyed dogs). And I’m looking forward to travelling again when the world opens up.
I’m the new girl on the block only joining the team at Phil Labor 6 months ago.
First and foremost, I love who I’m working with! I’m so fortunate to have finally found a lovely group of people to work alongside.
I love sales…..and in this role, I especially love the customer contact. I really enjoy meeting new people and helping them do their best.
My biggest achievements are my sons, especially my 13 year old that was diagnosed at age 4 with Autism, ADHD, ODD, Motor Tourette’s and was extremely aggressive from lack of communication skills. I was told he’d never talk or lead a normal life. I chose to invest all that I had to give him the best opportunities. We proved everyone wrong. He now goes to a mainstream school, plays team sport, is a good communicator and has good friendships. Its has not been an easy road and quite honestly, the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
I’m passionate about my boys being the best versions of themselves.
My other passions include Pilates, walking with my Cavoodle and animals…I’m a massive animal lover!
I started working as a Property Management Support in 2017. I do manage applications for rental properties, rent arrears, etc. Over the years, I have been dreaming of going out of my comfort zone. Phil Labor gave me that opportunity to explore what I can do and give more.
Now, I am working as Mortgage Virtual Assistant. This is what I've prayed for. A new beginning, new life it feels like being reborn. To be honest: I am not sure what lies ahead of me in the mortgage business. What I am thinking right now, is I am lucky to get this job and not be stuck in the same routines I am doing before.
As much as possible, I want to deliver the best in everything I do. I want to make a difference in the new role I am in today. Apart from the mentioned above, I am a church choir member, yes you heard me right, I can sing. I am the only child of my mother who is a single parent, and she raised me well. I am thankful to have her in my life and be her only son.
During my spare time, I love watching documentaries especially, about planets and the solar system. I am not into politics, but, I love the rich history of my country.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing with Associates in Accounting degree. I started working in the finance industry since I graduated. “Finance” is a very powerful 7-letter word that means money. In the words of Howard and Upton, “Finance may be defined as that administrative area or set of administrative functions in an organization which relates with the arrangement of cash and credit so that the organization may have the means of carrying out its objectives as satisfactorily as possible”.
I've been with the Phil Labor team for about eight months now, and I am lucky to have found this group. I'm the team leader in the growing Phil Labor team, which is my greatest achievement so far because our team has grown and doubled over the last eight months. The success of the company is the success of the employee too. I consider fashion an aesthetic, and I love seeing the beauty in every person.
My Marketing journey started since I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship. I started handling my own retail brand. Now, I'm currently a Facebook Media Buyer who has experience in handling lifestyle e-commerce brands. Also involved in Organic posts that can raise brand awareness. I design my graphics using Canva and I am knowledgeable in creative directions as well.
It has been my relentless passion to pursue learning and growth in the discipline of Marketing – both digital and traditional. With today's challenges, I've been an enthusiast not only of competency development and innovation but also of leadership and organizational development in the field of Marketing.
My goal is to help clients scale their businesses through strategic paid media and by creating funnels that focus on the customer journey and give emphasis to their lifetime value.
Apart from the above, I am a huge fan of Star Wars. It taught me a good life lesson which is to embrace the traits that make you stand apart.
I am a bookkeeper on my previous company with an aspiration to extend my expertise in bookkeeping to the outsourcing industry. I aim to continuously grow and advance my career by learning it the hard way. I may not be exceptional to all the things that I do, but I know for sure that through hard work and discipline all things will aligned according to the effort I put to make my output. That’s why the opportunity to work with Phil Labor helped me build a strong foundation due to the great exposure it provides in the BPO industry.
My knowledge in Bookkeeping and General Accounting, having to record even the tiniest transaction of the business, may it be disbursements or collections, up to making a financial reports and financial statements, sparked my interest to grasp in-depth analysis of the overall functionality of the company, where every engagement with the bigger picture takes place. My work experience taught me to recognize and understand that every transaction will have a different impact that can be tailored to the specific needs of the business. My focus and my ability to multitask have help me shape my competence on the task on hand, where I also have built strong interpersonal skills that I believe are useful with communicating with my client.
Apart from that, as much as possible I set aside time for myself. I enjoy going out for food and coffee, to hanging out with friends and telling each other’s life till the sun rises, and to going for unplanned trips because spontaneous trips are the best ones. But to top it off, what I truly enjoy the most is when I am inside my room. Don’t get me wrong, I do love people and the outside world, but nothing gives me comfort and peace when I’m confine on my own space. Enjoying my me time where I could watch my pending lists of anime, tv shows and series or maybe read the book that’s been sitting on my desk for too long.
I believe that life has its own timing. That no matter how much you thrive to get it – It will be blessed upon you when the right time comes. Everything will magically fall into place, much greater than you’ve had imagined, because what’s meant for you will always be for you.
For now it’s just me, Nikki, striving to become great at my job. 😊 I’m working as a Business Admin/Marketing Assistant with Phillabor, with experience in conducting campaign management for brands, editing promotional materials, creating contents, managing social media channels and internal communications.
I am a Tourism graduate and I have had a variety of customer service opportunities in my flying experience but thinks, that doing creative stuff and designing beautiful things excites me more. Through my experience in managing a business, I’ve come to meet the internet, working on social media, canva, photoshop and much more and I enjoy it – an expression of creativity, inspiration and beauty.
Now a little about me outside of work, everything I do revolves around a common theme – coffee. I have a special love with books, and the two pairing perfectly together – two of the most comforting things in my life. I am totally a happy person and I spent all my energy with coffee, food and whatnot.
One small positive thought in the morning can change my whole day. For me, by putting a big smile and by giving a good attitude increases our value. 😆
My name is Jam Fojas and I am a Virtual Assistant. I help businesses with a variety of tasks, including social media management, customer service, and administrative support. I also enjoy the variety of tasks that I get to do each day. No two days are the same, and I get to learn about a lot of different businesses and industries.
I love hiking! I really enjoy spending time in nature, and hiking is a great way to explore the outdoors. I love the feeling of fresh air in my lungs, and the smell of pine trees. Hiking is also a great workout, and I always feel so accomplished after finishing a hike.
My friends call me "Jam" because I'm always up for a hike, no matter what the weather is like. They know that I love spending time in nature, and they often join me on hikes. We always have so much fun chatting and enjoying the scenery. I can't imagine a better way to spend my free time!
AS a graduate of AB Communications, I thought I only have 2 options for my career and that is to be a journalist or a CSR. I have never thought that I can do more than that of the choices I have.
Nonetheless, i still Started from the scratch as a CSR for a telco company and working during the night shift was the most memorable experience for me as i have been exposed to so many different people virtually and in person but again, I know that this is something that isn't for me in the long term, so I tried to shift as a Virtual Assistant in another BPO industry and i would say, i found my career path.
I love being able to serve my boss with all the admin task they asked me and all those fancy-smanshy cloud apps they're using.
Unfortunately, I believe the universe has another plan for me so I re-routed my career path and now I am here! Happier than ever! I never thought that I would have a boss who is so open to all of his employees and a family of team members who are as "makulit" as me.

Communication is the bridge to SUCCESS!
My role as a customer support officer and administrative staff is I handle client and VA concerns; help look for the best VAs we can provide to our clients and assist Phil Labor staff with their concerns.
As a tourism graduate, I've always wanted to connect with and serve customers at my best. Connecting with people has been my forte ever since I started working.
I have been part of the customer service industry since I graduated from college. Since then, I have worked with various types of industries, such as the tourism industry, the real estate industry, publishing, and media, and now the client support and recruitment industries.
Through these experiences, I have gained a lot of knowledge and expertise in handling customer-related issues in my past jobs. Being in customer service for 5 years now, it will always be an open book for me to write about new experiences and learnings. The CSR role that I accepted from Phil Labor has been a huge learning process for me, as this is very different compared to providing service face-to-face and not virtually.
I've been through a lot of challenges, and I am still keen to learn more and give my best as a CSR. I can easily adapt to whatever task is given to me. I want to push myself out of my comfort zone and explore various things in life. Leveling up my skillset means a lot to me.
The plan for my career is very different from where I am right now, although I am still grateful for everything, as it turned out well and was perfect for every moment I went through. Nevertheless, I am still achieving my goal as I connect with a lot of people not only within my country but also internationally and give them my full and best capabilities. My job right now gives me satisfaction in serving and resolving client concerns daily.
My go-to quotes in life are "Never miss an opportunity; always grab it", "Let's cross the bridge when we get there" and "Always look for the good in everything that is happening". These quotes keep me going, as they're not just quotes but also life lessons.
I've been in the customer service industry for almost 3 years now and I must say that Phillabor is one of the best companies I've been with.
Being an individual who has a way with people, serving under my current client helped me mature in my professional career, especially in methods and client-customer dealings.
I'm looking forward to all the opportunities to help the community grow that I might encounter while working here.
Thank you!

Every day you learn something new!
When I entered the world of work, I could not imagine how far I have gone from working in the call center industry, speech academy, and finance back-office representation. It has been seven years and I am certain that there are more skills, knowledge, and qualifications that await me.
Becoming a Mortgage Broker EA is a testament to this. When I got interviewed by an Australian MB based in Canberra, I was transparent to admit that I knew nothing about the industry – the product, process, and technicalities. But they hired me nevertheless, taking a chance, and everything happened so quickly.
It never occurred to me that I will be able to surpass days of assisting our loans processor and communicating to the bank and the clients who want to obtain funds for their new home, investment properties, and vehicles. To realize that mortgage is a unique area in the field of financing, it takes a lot of commitment, focus, discipline, and patience to get through the days.
If there is one thing that I have learned in this particular journey in my field of work, it is to become a people company. Customers become our partners in creating a better society when we perceive them as stakeholders in our shared success. One satisfied customer is all it takes to convince an entire village to use our services.
I am horrible when I panic because I won’t talk until I have calmed down. People thought it’s grace under pressure. Well!
